Ramen Cabbage Salad
Published on April 26th, 2009.
Oh, you’ve got to try this one. I found this recipe while I was browsing the internet yesterday. Here are the ingredients needed:
• 1/3 cup slivered or sliced almonds
• 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
• 6 cups shredded cabbage
• 4 green onions, finely chopped (white portion and half of green)
• 1 cup canned black beans, drained and rinsed
• 1 package Ramen Noodle Soup
Dressing:
• 3 tablespoons honey
• Ramen seasoning packet
• 2 tablespoons apple juice
• 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
• 1 tablespoons sesame oil
Toast sesame seeds and almonds separately by laying them in a single layer of a pan and broiling carefully until lightly brown. Set both aside. Put cabbage, almonds, sesame seeds, onions and beans in serving bowl. Add Ramen noodles after crumbling them into small pieces with your hands.
After that mix the dressing ingredients well with wire whisk in small bowl. Drizzle over the cabbage mixture and toss. (Make sure you mix dressing just before tossing with salad ingredients.)
