I had a friend who had been in Santiago de Compostella and she shared with me the things that one should do when he/she is in the said place. First is to bask the rays of the sun at the rooftop of the cathedral, marvel at their Abastos Market, have a bite of their “Tetilla Queixo”, find a nice hotel to stay, indulge in fresh seafood, especially in a resto called Casa Marcello, go on a day tour to Cambados, bring home a jet stone, stroll leisurely along their historic streets and enjoy a moment of serenity.
