Every 15th of May, the quiet town of Lucban in Quezon province comes alive with the most colorful and charmign festivals in the country—the Pahiyas Festival. It was originally celebrated as a pagan harvest festival, but today, it is celebrated in honor of the patron, San Isidro de Labrador. The eloborate decorations of the houses gives the festive air while the showcased harvest plus their pansit (native noodle) and longganisa (native sausage) gives a sure festive digestive treat!
