Logic of Legumes

Since I was a kid, dishes with legumes are my favorite. Pork and beans are one of them. But more than being delicious, legumes have a long list of health benefits, according to many experts and studies. Example, legumes are good source of protien, fiber, potassium and anti-oxidants; a cup of beans a day can help lower chances of heart disease and cholesterol by 20%. I would never-ever trade legumes to any other protein source. Now, i’m training my kids to eat and love legumes.
